What to Expect:
A Safe and Exciting environment where we help parents have tools to let their children know that they are Loved and God wants to be their friend forever.
Your child and their saftey are important to us. On your first visit, we will ask you the following personal information: parent/legal guardian names, children’s names and birthdates, address, phone number and any special instructions (allergies, special needs) for each child. This information is entered into our database to help maintain our secure check-in system.
Every volunteer that serves in River Kids has completed a background check form that looks at their history. We take saftey seriously at River Church. All volunteers are trained in procedures that cover wide topics to ensure we are creating safe and exciting environments. We use a security tag system for child check-in and pick-up, and a paging system for parents/guardians in case we need to reach you during the worship experience.
The River Kids Coordinator is Sarah Baumgardner. She leads a team of volunteers that are background checked, trained in how to facilitate a safe and exciting environment, and ready to care for your child while they are in River Kids.
River Kids is broken up by ages that meet in lifegroups on Sunday morning during the main Gatherings. During these groups they will worship through song, video illustrations, teaching through God's word and activities to help them learn how God wants to be their friend forever. There is also a nursary for our younger children to be able to have a safe and exciting environment that his developed for thier needs.
